We like to share feel good stories from our mining friends in other states whenever they come across our desks, and this story from Barrick Gold Corp.’s  Donlin Creek mine in Crooked Creek, Alaska is one of them.

Donlin Creek workers recently came to the rescue of more than 50 Crooked Creek residents when a local river put most of the village under water. Read more about their brave efforts in the Anchorage Daily News.
