The world of Nevada mining is made of up people from all skill sets and backgrounds—engineers, salespeople, equipment operators and laborers. Today, we hear from Robert Campbell, CEO and Founding Chairman of CAP Holdings Co., LLC, who happens to hold advanced degrees in Physics and Systems Engineering and certifications from UC Berkeley, Stanford, Johns-Hopkins APL and University of Arizona.

CAP Holdings Co. develops, manufactures and operates advanced water treatment systems. Beyond Nevada, CAP Holdings Co. tailors its services to communities throughout the world, including the Middle East and South America. Here at home, CAP Holdings Co. works with our mining companies to improve wastewater and water reuse practices.

“I am impressed by the serious environmental engineering that is going on within the mining industry,” Campbell said.

For 24 years, Campbell has put his company’s mission to bring new sources of potable and agriculture water for the world into place. The company does this by using defense and energy technologies like advanced water treatment and renewable power sources.

There are many ways Campbell’s company’s technologies can be utilized by the mining industry. CAP Holdings Co. works with mining companies to address water reuse processes and metal recovery from waste water. These processes work towards creating a greener future for Nevada mining, and mining in general.

Helping to bring water resources to the world is one of the reasons Campbell enjoys his work.

“[I’m able to] do well while doing good,” Campbell said.

Outside the lines drawn by his career servicing the mining industry, Campbell enjoys the finer sides of life that have been afforded to him through his career, including international travel, reading, music, hiking, biking and skiing. Additionally, he is a self-proclaimed fan of great food, fine wine, and great scotch.

We’ll toast to that.
